Look at situation from a different angle
Experiment with a new material or medium
Use yourself as a muse: let old creations inspire you
Find new uses for materials or elements you'd typically toss out
Destroy something and make a new thing from the remains
Create something from nature
Do the "wrong" thing
Draw the same thing everyday for a week (be sure to watch the Struthless video)
Try things with your non-dominant hand
Make 1 new thing--not perfect, not complete, each day for a week
Think of some rules you usually follow in art making, now break them
Play with scale: make something small big, or vice versa
Spend 10 minutes/day on a new creative pursuit; repeat daily for a week
